    Default HIDs

Just installed HIDs for the headlights and fogs and they look great. Since we have a weird bulb type for headlights, 9006 HID kits will work with our car but will lose high beam functionality as we have a dual stage bulb. Ill try and get pictures tonight but the LED bar with HIDs really stand out compared to the stock look.

I take it no one has made a dual stage HID yet?

    Let's see some pics!

HID's would be nice but not an option for me. My state requires high beams to function for annual check. The stock lights work just fine.

Sorry guys I went to take pictures last night and with my camera the lights all just turn out as a blur and really doesnt do the car justice. But as far as high beams go, I still have high beams with the HIDs. I took the headlight housing out of my car and it looks like there is a shield or flap or whatever u would like to call it in the projector that moves out of the way when you hit the brights. I did some more research on HIR bulbs and was mistaken when I said they were a dual stage bulb. They actually are just like a regular halogen bulb except for the fact that some light is directed back towards the filament which makes it glow brighter and produce more light output than a standard halogen bulb.

Yea I'm currently running a 9006 kit for my headlights and an h11 kit for my fogs, I have not lost functionality of my high beams and have had no problems yet

I just want to see the cutoff with the hid lights, could you take a pic of them shining on a flat wall or garage?

Ya I will try to remember to do that tonight, I have noticed no difference in the cutoff from halogen to hid and the cutoff look as it should
