Have you thought of putting a sub on either side of the trunk, 1 behind each wheel with the amp mounted under the carpet? more of a stealthy... keep your trunk more spacious style?

Thank you haha. I am planning on doing a similar set up, just with 1 sub not 2. Keep us posted on what you decide! GL

I set the subs in the trunk to see what it would look like but the only problem i ran into was the amp. The only place that it would look good at is also where the spare tire is at

Yeah I would get a custom box though prefab subwoofer boxes are horrible. If you have any questions on car audio you can ask me any time.

Ive always been the get rid of the spare tire guy and build a box in the floor - grills on the subs and have full use of the trunk - and have good roadside or triple AAA in case of a flat

I always keep the tire, mount subs on side as stated above, and amp mounted against back wall of trunk.. sometimes its best looking and easiest you build a fake wall, so you can return to stock easier when you want to sell.. and its nice and flat.. shouldnt be too hard to match the carpet so it looks factory gives you full function and nice look.. have also mounted amp under seats, just have to be careful of backseat passengers kicking and or wet feet, and make sure install clears all moving parts, and any screws coming through are weatherproofed from underneath. Rust will take in faster than you think. Little dab of rubber sealant, spray undercoating, or even just nice coat of quality paint, anything to protect bare metal where they went through.
