Big Ted, I finally got my dealer to do the Star Case!!

I appreciate you posting the info.

    Thanks

Use the FP number and ask what that number is used for other than correcting a suspension problem. I can't say if the star case number will work in Canada, but I would say go for it. There is nothing to lose!

We can't afford taking the big hit trading this thing in so we feel helpless. Anyone who has experienced this problem understands just how serious an issue it is.

I can only hope at some point Chrysler takes ownership of this problem and recalls these vehicles.

Wow...Thanks for this thread, and a big thanks to Big Ted for providing the star case #.

I have a 2012 S that has michelin X-ice on it,and the car has always handled great....that is until you get the car loaded up full.On Xmas this year we had 2 adults and 3 teenagers in the car,the roads were clear except a small lip of ice about 5 inches in from the side. When a car was oncoming and i had to drive on that ice ridge on one side..IT WAS SCARY...the whole time on it the car would just wiggle all over...

Car has gold warranty, and has 92,000km so it will definitely be going in for this soon.

Only thing that has me concerned,is actually unhooking/removing the rear sway bar...will this not affect dry handling negatively..??..You guys that have had this done...how does dry handling feel..??

    And hey..GLHS60..nice omni man...I have a 92 ShadowES 5spd with a turbonetics super 60...fun fun fun..

    Hey Sicko:

Like you, I was concerned about the rear stabilizer bar removal, but I didn't have to worry as the dealer/mechanic didn't bother to remove mine!!

The ride is better overall and no rear squirming so far.

    Super 60's rule!!

    Thanks

Let me know what they do.

I think my dealer just didn't bother but the Star case says to remove it.

    Thanks
