    Default 2015 Chrysler 200 stalling

Newbie hear so I will breakdown my issues that I have been having

I bought my car in October of 2014 brand new 0 miles on it I have only done my maintenance through the dealership and all my oil changes. Before doing my 3rd oil change my vehicle started to stall on me while driving on initial start after trying to start it several times then I would have no problems. I took it to the dealership to do my oil changes and the dealer said you had several recalls that needed upgrade for the softwares they had my vehicle for the entire day. I took my vehicle on September of 2015 to get the issues revolved the issue came back in November 2015 I took it back to the dealer for the same issue he said a wife harness needed to b changed which was changed and the next day I had the same issue the vehicle just stalling. So I went back to the dealership that I brought the vehicle in and they stated a wire harness and a power adapter needed to be changed again they had my vehicle for the entire day stated the issue was revolved and the next day I had the same exact issue mind you I moved about 100 miles or so from where I bought the vehicle and I had the same issue with the stalling. So I called them and told them the issue and they stated to check my oil and low and behold I checked my oil and it was bone dry there was nothing in my dash giving the signal that my oil was low and caused th vehicle to stall. So the tech stated that this happened to another customer and they had to replace the engine because the engine was burning the oil. I told him I no longer want the vehicle it's unsafe he said call Chrysler and after dealing with Chrysler for several days my case manager stated all they can do is bring the vehicle back to the dealership for repairs. I will be taking my vehicle in for the fourth time this week and I am not leaving until I get a new vehicle I believe this is a lemon

Your story is very hard to read and it's hard to understand what you are trying to get from here. Are you asking for help or you just want to vent?

Im posting because I want to know has anyone had any of these issues and what was the outcome.

And far as I know as many new cars that I have driven I never had to check the oil when doing regular maintainece and when the dash never states the oil is low or there was any check engine lights. It's a brand new vehicle 2015

There has never been a vehicle made that has a low oil level warning. The dash indicator lights are for oil pressure only, not an indication of oil level. With any vehicle, you are responsible to check oil levels, coolant and tire pressures ... all the time. I understand the vehicle is new, but problems happen with any vehicle manufactured that could cause an oil loss or burn condition.
Sorry to hear you're having problems, but the warranty will repair your car.
The lemon law issue is another story. Best to consult a "lemon law" specialist attorney for advice.

Not true, many cars have a low oil level sensor. My 96 Impala SS did as well as some early build Trailblazers.

    They are not the norm.
If you wait for an "idiot' light to tell you the oil is low, it may already be too late.
Things that come to mind, where is the sensor located ? How low does the oil need to be before it activates ?

Just a note ... before anyone takes offense. The term "idiot" light has long been a term associated with car's dashboard lights for various monitoring functions.

Check your oil regularly. Simple and easy.

This may or may not be true but for every car I have driven it has given some sort of oil indicator for me to Atleast check the oil and the vehicle is synthetic oil as well but either way I didn't my maintenance regularly and even when I took it to the dealership for repairs and recalls they never checked the oil or did the inspections.

I will be looking into the lemon law if the dealer is not able to work some sort of replacement for my vehicle

I don't want to seem argumentative, but the owners manual states "check engine oil regularly" and Consumer Reports magazine says "Checking the oil level is a quick, easy job that we recommend you do at every other gas fill-up".
I have been driving for 47 years and was taught to check the oil. Warning lights are not sufficient.
Good luck with the Lemon Law. I suggest checking your states individual law. Most require at least 30 days in the shop or a safety related problem they cannot repair after 3 attempts.
Chrysler will not just hand over another car.
Give them a chance to fix it.

You are absolutely correct as far as checking oil and tire pressure but just as the tires have sensors when the tires are low so does the oil level as well. According to my Florida lemon law it states if the vehicle has been out of service for repair of one or more defects for a cumulative total of 15 calendar days or more. Also if the vehicle has been back for repairs on 3 separate occasions. So when I take it back this will be my 4th attempt at resolving this issue.
