I am not sure about removing the chrome door lining. I know talented installers can wrap door trim leaving it in place but I don't know if I would be able to do that myself. The emblem in my pic is the rear emblem. It is different from the front. To remove the rear I heated it with a heat gun and used some 12 pound fishing line between the emblem and the trunk lid to take it off.

When the time comes to remove it, the vinyl will come off easily if you heat it so soften the adhesive and peel it off. This stuff gets super soft and pliable when you heat it. It almost "melts". When it warms up a bit outside I'm going to wrap the front grill emblem without removing it. I know a graphics guy and he recommended putting it on when it was 60 degrees or warmer. The adhesive gains full strength in 24 hours so it should be car wash safe by then. When you are installing it, you can pull it up and reposition it without heat. The heat is mainly to stretch and shape the material. There are some good videos on YouTube. The toughest part is the corners. With a little practice it is all pretty easy.

Doesn't seem like the proper kind of car to place those on, but it's your ride.

I actually like it. I think it looks pretty good on that color. My only critique would be a different and more raked back angle, more like 30-45 degrees but I like it.

Did you finish your wheels with glossifier? Do you have pictures? I'm about to do the same.
