    Im not sure if you guys know about a canbus led lights or not but if you get this kind it will not throw any error messages on the dashboard at all.
    I have replaced all of my stock halogen bulbs to canbus led bulbs two months after i drove off the dealers lot last august and i have not had any issues at all.

    This is good advice. Lighting laws differ from state to state but typically, as long as you can see your brake lights illuminated from 500 or more feet away you are safe. Also use a quality bulb. The Putco ones are pretty good quality and can be seen from more than 500 feet away.
