I love the look of your car.. looks just like mine except mines an S :P. So.. How exactly did you do the tail lights? I called around here and the CHEAPEST I could find was 100$ for it.. So I'm pretty sure it'd be cheaper to do it myself. Think you could maybe e-mail me some pics of a step by step or something? Like what I need to tape off, and how dark to make it so the light still shines threw bright at night (Needs to be visable from about 500ft away.) With them being LED lights it shouldn't be to bad with a few coats but yea.

Question, how did you get the small red reflector piece above the chrome strip off of the car? It looks like it would come off with the chrome strip, but i can't figure out how to pop it off. I really don't want to try and tint it with it still being on the vehicle.

I know this is resurrecting an old thread, but just wondering if you have any more pics of your blacked out tail lights and how they look with lights on and again with lights on and brakes applied. The pics that you posted look great so far. Thanks

does that paint come off? I would rather go with a tint cover, I found one, but the only concern is finding one that doesn't cover the rear lights as you did so nicely.

ok here a step by step of the tail lights:
    1. remove tail lights
    2. clean of tails light with warm soapy water
    3. dry with micro fiber cloth
    4. wipe down with rubbing alcohol
    5. spray with night shades (http://www.tcpglobal.com/spraypaintd...FQff4AodvlTlPg)

If you want you can use painters tape to cover the back up light. Just cut away extra tape with an exacto knife or razor blade
i did two coats to start and recently re applied a third coat
As for the question of can you see my break lights at night: ive have not had any problems with people complaining or cops bugging me about them... i live on a military installation and the MPs are dicks yet never had a problem about the tail lights.

The grill and Chrysler wings where just scuffed up with 320 grit sand paper and sprayed with a plastic paint then clear coated, head lights where sprayed the same as the taillights but only one coat was applied considering I am waiting for my hids to get to the house.
Only complaint i have is the headlights are kinda dim and the housing is kinda hazy up close but i couldn't go any darker with the spray. it looks good and its not a show car so i really don't mind. IMO it looks good.
