Default Killer deal on a 2016 Chrysler 200 Limited

Just bought my 200 Limited from Sacramento CJDR for 17,999 plus tax/fees... sticker was 25,485.

The rebates from Chrysler are insane right now and the dealer discounts on top of it made it a no brainer.

From a technology standpoint... I still wish we would have bought the 200S we went there to buy originally... I figure I can get this one up to speed for far less than the 7500 I saved on the purchase.

Anyone interested in Northern California, now is the time to head to a CJDR dealer and get you one (or upgrade what you have)!!

    The sale ends tomorrow!

Just purchased a 2015 200S AWD fully loaded with every single option that was available (even the panoramic sunroof) for $22,500. The car was built in December 2014 and had been sitting on a lot for over year (the SiriusXm trial was even expired). If you look around you can find some of these car waiting to be given away. MSRP was $34,000-ish. This one had 3,400 miles and had just had the first oil change less than a week before I bought it 2/2/2016.

Some amazing deals can be gotten if you run fast enough.

But at 3400 miles, it's either a demo car from the dealer or a used car but certainly not a brand new one.

I just bought a Certified 2015 Limited with Conv and 8.4 for 16k with 5k miles on it. Dealers around here bought a bunch to make factory quota so there are a bunch available for cheap. Beats buying a rental car with 5 times as many miles. Boise, Idaho area.

I wish everyone luck who is buying these cars. Make sure to take a look at the issues that current owners have experienced so often that Chrysler has decided to end production on the Chrysler 200.

That isn't why they decided to end production of the Dart and the 200, they killed the Avenger, got overly greedy/optimistic and over produced the Dart and the 200 and are now focusing on Trucks and SUV's. It's a foolish move I think to kill them off.

I would say the previous generation 200 had more issues than the current gen 200, this is from my experience owning both currently and I traded a 13' 200S for my 15' 200S, so I have owned three.

That said both the previous gen and current gen are very reliable. Most people don't go on car forums and post about their perfectly reliable vehicle, they post because they have issues and need help and or are looking for information. The few enthusiasts looking for upgrades etc... don't represent the majority.

The transmission on my 13' recently had to be replaced at 28K miles, but the 15' has had no major issues with 40,000 miles as of today.

The new 200 just got more attention than the old one since it's no longer a modified Sebring but is now on a new platform.

The new 200s had major issues. One of note is the rollaway problem with the new transmission. I'm sure they had many factors in deciding to end production of both.
