I ended up ordering the BBK throttle body after talking to you and Tyler, thanks again for the information, I was supposed to have it April 17th but my supplier is now telling me mid July before I'll see it. I keep hearing all this great stuff and can't wait to try one. Do you know if anyone has ever tried hollowing out the cats?

its quite a lot of disassembly to get the cats removed and really not worth it unless you plan on changing the entire exhaust. Focus on the mods that are relatively easy to do first then work on something like that if you want to really get serious

Yeah that's why I was asking, debating if the gains would be worth the efforts, you're probably right. So that just means I have to refocus and look into more serious mods, lol.

I did the Magnaflow cat back system and that was the biggest improvement as far as the bolt ons go. Very little back pressure now. Sold my factory exhaust for $350 so that helped cut the cost. I agree its prob not worth the effort to hollow the cats for another 5-10ish hp. Id love too see a speedo vid of your car too compare too mine!

I would have loved to use the Magnaflow cat back, I'm running an AWD so sadly no kits available, had to go the custom route. If I was confident I could get 5-10 hp I would go for it. Dollars are made from nickels and dimes, lol. Overall I do agree it's realistically a 0-5 hp gain, not worth the work involved but It never hurts to ask, sometimes you get surprised.

I just watched your speedo vid, I see your in the states and I thought it was in MPH, I nearly spit my coffee out. Still pretty inpressive, I'll see what I can come up with for a speedo video for you. What are you doing for brakes?

I have a Powerstop rotor kit slotted and cross drilled and EBC Redstuff pads. Also gonna change the fluid w Amsoil synthetic. I'm not expecting any improvement under normal driving conditions but should be better under extreme usage. This setup should keep heat build up too a minimum and eliminate brake fade. And they will look awesome!

Nice, I'm looking forward to seeing your build and what you think of the new brake set up. I will agree these 200's can use a little more stopping power.
