    Default 2015 200s Jackstand locations!

I've seen posts about jackstand locations with the previous version of the 200 and got underneath my car just to see a ocean of plastic! I was thinking about trying to jack and place a jackstand under the pinchweld but quickly seen how thats probably a bad idea. Maybe i'm over thinking all this but does anyone have good locations to put the car up on all 4 jackstands? Maybe got a picture laying around of your old projects?

I always jack up the front of my car from the big bolts right behind the front tires where the suspension attaches to the body. Is a big thick steel plate there that won't be going anywhere.

Yeah I've seen those bolts and wondered if that was safe for a stand. Good to know with that. Any idea about where to place the jackstands in the rear?

Pages 569-571 in your owners manual clearly illustrates the jacking procedures and locations for your 200.

    Say this has me wondering
Where is the spare tire and tire jack???
It never occurred to me to look for it
I bet it’s in the trunk somewhere. I’ll go read the manual

This reminds me to post and tell everyone to check the PSI on your spare. Spares loose pressure like regular tires do. My spare lost over half of it's pressure over the past 4.5 years before I had to use it. Nothing enjoyable about having a flat tire and then having to put on a near flat spare as well.

Yep. I try to remember to check it before any long trip. Almost always is in need of more air to get to spec, even though I usually over-inflate by 5 psi, to provide longer "seepage" time. Can always check it and let a little air out when it actually has to be used.

One of the most useful emergency tools I keep in my car is a small air compressor that can be powered by a 12 volt car outlet. It fits in the side of the spare tire well and is great to have if the spare is low on air when you need it. I've also used it when I had a slow leak in one of my tires to air it up enough so I could drive it to a tire shop.
