Default 2012 hardtop convertible mystery bars

    Hello:
We purchased a used hardtop convertible from a Ford dealer and these 2 curved bars were in the trunk. Can anyone tell me where they go as it is not obvious. It looks like they attach with some cheap plastic fasteners of which only 2 are left. I looked on the factory parts diagrams and could not locate. Thank you. Warren

The convertible top is attached to the car in the trunk and would probably be subject to rust over the years... look for how it is mounted... Just an educated guess...

I have a 2012 soft top convertible and I don't recognize those parts. Closest I can come up with are weatherstrip retainers but I'm not really sure.

I have a 2011 HT convertible and I don't recognize these parts. I have not have any reason to mess with the HT since it works great. Hope you enjoy your car on warm sunny days.

My best advice is to simply stop by any Chrysler dealership service/sales dept and ask them. They should be able to advise you and I really doubt they will charge anything.

No idea, but what kind of car is that in the pic? Looks like a classic. Pontiac?

Ha Ha. The classic car in the picture is a 1974 Dodge Dart Sport Hang 10 edition. Still restoring but does run. 360 V-8.
