Not trying to be a downer or anything, but am curious on why you all want this? What are the benefits of putting Netflix into the car?

Yeah on any length of road trip I think it will be great. I've played youtube videos from like comedy/stand-up specials etc. makes the time go by faster. Would be nicer to have the screen/image up too, especially for the passenger.

Interested in this. I haven't found many videos of actual interface or how it all works. Anyone know where I can see some?

Hey Soaknfused - have you had any recent luck with the vendor? I know you were waiting on a fix from them.

Also - how were you going to power the Chromestick? I forgot that those need supplemental power on top of the USB port it plugs in to (I think).

p.s. - in the short-term I just bought a cup holder/mounting bracket so I'll mount my iPad for some trips we have coming up. This way there isn't any permanent installation going on. Not ideal, but I'll give it a shot so at least we can get Netflix and other stuff playing.

What is the pricing for the Wi-Fi through Uconnect and what speeds / data packages are offered?
