Has good cooling on passenger side but warm on driver side . If you bring car to a stop after 12 seconds it has a burst of good cold on the drivers side then gradually warms up.It has a full one lb charge in system and new cabin filter. Have tried many stops count to 12 after car comes to rest and gets cold then warms up.

What I'm going to suggest is only a guess... but maybe the problem isn't on the A/C being weak but the heater being plugged on the passenger side, combined with heat that won't turn off. There have been many reports of the passenger side of the heater core being stopped up. You might be able to get a clamp or vice grip to temporarily squeeze the heater core hose shut and see if it fixes the warming up of the driver's side vent. Not sure what you'd do to fix the underlying problem but at least you could rule out the A/C being the source of the problem.
