It appears the vehicle’s thermostat is not functioning correctly. Local service isn’t an option prior to Thanksgiving holiday.
Can I drive the vehicle safely until service is available after the holiday?

Welcome to the forum. What symptoms are you experiencing? Poor heat? Overheating? Where does your temp gauge sit at? 4 or 6 cylinder?

It could be the thermostat. Has the system had a recent coolant flush or change?
The orange HOAT coolant has a recommended service interval of 10 years.
There have been instances of heater core plugging from corrosion.
Use a coolant that says that it meets Chrysler MS-9769 and distilled water to fill the system.
Do not mix coolant types.
