Long story short, my car shakes @60mph+ and gets worse the faster I go. I figured my tires were out of balance. So I took it to the shop. I was told my stock rims were bent (by Discount Tire), and I would need new rims. Well I used that as an excuse to purchase new wheels and tires (I went elsewhere and purchased), and I’m still getting vibration @60mph+. Same exact problem, same bad vibration. I feel like I just wasted $1500 and I’ve started the journey of chasing down this vibration. The next thing to replace would be the CV axles, because the ball joints seem fine. Anyone else experience this problem?

Welcome to the forum 200maniac !
With older cars it's important to diagnose first.
Don't replace those axles until your sure that is the problem.
A suggestion. Try another wheel balance first. look up "Road Force" or another place with high speed balance machines.
Good luck.

I once had to take my car back to Discount Tire after getting new tires, they weren't balanced correctly the first time - or a weight fell off on the drive home.
