My 2015 200 came with 215/55R17 all season tire. I was just wondering can I put 215/65R17 using the same rim? I know this will effect the speedometer reading a little bit but is there any safety concerns?

there are conversion tables available on the internet. Google it, you should be able to figure out pretty easily.

no safety concerns, but as you said the tire diameter will be different.

215/55/R17 = 26.3" dia
215/65/R17 = 28" dia.

with the larger tires when your speedometer reads 65 mph you'll actually be travelling at 69 mph. the concern i would have is whether or not they'll fit without rubbing something (fender liner, A-Arm, sway bar, etc.). you could always have a tire shop test fit a tire for you. just curious which winter tires are you going with?

Any update on rubbing issues? I too want to get larger tires like 235/50 or 55/r18

I have upgraded to 235/50 18 and the car drives much nicer on this michigan roads.
Downside at 70 indicated speed I am traveling at 72 mph.

No that's to tall u can put 215 60 17 on there
