Hey , can someone please help me figure this out. I have a 2012 Chrysler 200 that I am having trouble with the a/c. It hasn't worked in a while but since summer is approaching i want attempt to fix it. I have started off by purchasing a can of Freon and trying to recharge the system. It worked great for about 2days. But at the same time when i turned off my vehicle i can hear a noise near the a/c hissing for about 30 seconds then shuts off. Trying to find the noise, i remove my front bumper & the noise seem to be coming from this part of my vehicle. Its an aluminum a/c tube near the bottom of the passenger side. I also noticed that one side of the tube is really cold and the other part is hot. The line is going into the bottom of the condenser. Is this normal??? I also pour a/c die to check for leaks and noticed that my condenser had bubbles on the bolt portion of the condenser.

Can someone tell me if i need a new condenser and why is the line cold and then hot. Could it be a blockage? How do i unblock it

When refrigerant goes from a higher pressure to a lower pressure (like a leak), it will absorb heat.
A stone may have hit the pipe & put a pin-hole in it?

Also o-rings #15, 16, 20 & 21.

If the system has been open to air for awhile, it may be a good idea to replace the Accumulator (22) which contains a desiccant & filter.
The system is drawn down into a vacuum & then recharged. A/C work is expensive, but we haven't hit the busy season yet.

Ok so the side of the condenser is blowing bubbles. I put a/c dye inside it to check for leaks. Do i need a new condenser? Or is this normal

There should be no bubbles. That is a leak. Is it bubbling out of an aluminum tube?
The Mopar condenser/ATF cooler is unavailible and Magneti-Marelli is temporarily out of stock.
I imagine that other sources, such as ebay motors & automotive A/C suppliers may have them.
