Hi,

I'm new here. I just purchased a 2011 S Convertible-White. It's a bit of a project in a few areas. The grill has black plastic louvers but the trim piece which is missing is chrome/plastic from what I can see. So I am wondering:

1. Is the molding universal for all Convertible and Sedan hoods? This will make it easier as I search for one
2. Is it plastic or metal? I bought it with the molding missing.

Welcome to the forum. Do you need the grille itself? It comes with the sides & bottom surround piece.
Mopar part # 68082050AE (chrome) or 68102305AE (black)
(note that previous versions AA, AB, AC, AD will also fit):

The top trim piece with the bird & logo is separate.
Mopar part # 68089553AB (shows as discontinued):

They are both plastic. The wing emblem piece is the same for all 200 models.
Use the Mopar number in your search. Find your best deal.

It is a common 'crash part' which may make finding a used one difficult. Most yards will sell you the whole hood or 'front clip' as that is what most collision shops call for.
There may be aftermarket grilles, but this trim piece may be Mopar-only?
