Hey guys, I know this topic has been beaten to death but I genuinely cannot find the answer to the dreaded led or hid headlight conversion from halogens question.

I bought a set of 9005 leds and with the day time running lights in Canada its coming up with the low beam headlight out error. This set came with a canbus decoder but clearly it doesn't work. The company recommended just returning them. Will an additional resistor on both sides fix the issue or will that cause other issues?

Should I just invest in the HID kit from RPM motorsport that guarantees they'll work. $50 Canadian for the leds vs $135ish for the HIDs.

What set up did you guys invest in and what finally worked?

Thanks

Thanks, I was hoping to get some advice from people who have done the swap with no canbus errors, flickering or dashboard lights. The 200s are really finicky. I'm not sure the sequoia has the same issues.
