I love these forums. They’re very helpful! Hoping someone can help me figure out the location of the end of this ground strap on a 2015 C that has 2.4l. This is up by the battery attached to frame.

Welcome to the forums. You have the transaxle out? I think it would fasten to the transaxle case.
The parts manual shows only 1 ground strap, but doesn't tell me where it goes.
Look for a loose bolt threaded into the case or a clean M8x1.25 bolt-hole where it used to attach?

These are all the grounds on the front half of the car (UF).
I don't see the 'strap', but I suspect that it might supply a body ground for a metal piece in the fascia that is suspended by non-conducting plastic? Look for a fresh bolt-hole.

Just in case someone else runs into this…I followed the carfax to the dealer who did a modification on this car. Apparently Chrysler recalled the tcm/ecu and the new tcm’s are internally grounded. Hence the dangling ground strap that used to ground the old tcm unit.
