Welcome to the forum. If you do a 'Search Community' for V6 engine oil leaks, you will find a plethora of oil cooler leak issues.
I think that the cooler itself had some failures in earlier engines, but lately I would tend to blame the o-rings.
The techs I spoke with didn't seem to think that the oil filter cap was being over-tightened causing the cracks & leaks.
Chrysler had 2 vendors for the cooler housing & one of the vendors had some plastic molding quality issues. If the oil leak appears to be located in the Vee, remove the upper intake manifold for a better look. If everything is wet with oil, degrease & rinse the area. Dye can be added to oil for better diagnostics.
