Putting this out with my problem with my push to start function. I have owned my Chrysler 200 - 2016 model for a year and a half. I bought it in the winter and experienced no problems. When the weather warms in WI, it will not recognize the key fob. As I approach the vehicle I notice It will not recognize my hand on the handle or my finger on the start button. It WILL function if I use the fob to unlock the car door and the fob pressed against the start button.
Can somebody explain how to fix this?

Welcome to the forum. Do you have a spare fob to try? Have known good batteries been replaced recently? Is it equipped with Remote Start & does that work?
Any aftermarket accessories using the CAN bus or LED lamps added?
