Unless you have a supercharger or turbo, trying to ram more air in won't do a thing for performance in modern cars. If it's intended to be purely cosmetic, go for it.

Similar to the hoods on Hellcats. One thing I can tell you, it allows lots of water to enter the engine compartment.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Seems like driving in the rain would be a problem...

It's not a problem.
Remember the old Chuck Berry song ... Maybellene ... The rain water blowin' all under my hood. I knew that was doin' my motor good.
But really, not a problem as the engineers know water will get into the compartment.

For sure, I think it looks cool as ****. I'm still debating it but have a few other mods to pay for first...
