They had to order a hood. Dealer claimed corrosion was too extensive. Took the dealer 10 days to order a hood, repaint, and install.

My dealer body shop said that they were sent a "bulletin" from Chysler concerning the hood corrosion. I dont know what the dealers responsibility is when they get a "bulletin"

If that is true, then any notice ( or bulletin ) is only for informational purposes and it advises the dealer of a known problem. It tells them what to look for. Usually it will advise which repairs, and when replacement may be required.
However, that is not an omission of any defect, nor is it a recall.

As a side note, bulletins are in the form of a TSB. Technical Service Bulletin. It provides advice on a problem that may exist with certain vehicles.
