2015 200S AWD 58k I recently had my coolant system flushed. I know it says 10 years 150k but the coolant had lost its color from purple to light pink.
I never really paid attention to my coolant temperatures before hand. I did check it on the highway before I dropped it off and it was staying 199-210. Now that I have gotten the car back I’ve noticed the temps going to 235 at idle still staying around 199-212 on highway. I swear I’m smelling coolant but they could find not leaks and it seems to be holding it’s max fluid level. Normal temps or should I be concerned?

Continue to keep an eye on it. The smell may be leftovers from the coolant service.
They did use an OAT coolant meeting Chrysler MS-12106, yes?

I mean I would hope it was a Chrysler dealership. And I even put in service order OAT coolant. It’s purple

Mine too was 64 out yesterday 208. But idling in drive thru it got up to 235. If you think about it watch yours at idle after it been running for a bit and let me know! Thanks!

It could be a heater core minor leak. Check your hoses for cracks.

I have a 2013 200 with 2.4L. I was loosing a little coolant each month it was coming from the thermostat assembly. I started having problems with the temp going up when car was stopped or AC on. My car has 2 thermostats in the thermostat assembly and the assembly is plastic. I bought the whole assembly with 2 thermostat at auto zone and changed it out. No more leak and temp needle stays steady at all times again. I changed it out about 3 months ago.
