2015 200C 3.6, 142,000 miles. Due to oil leak, I replaced OEM oil filter adapter with Dorman aluminum 2 years ago. At same time replaced the oil pressure sender (it worked fine but I didn't want to repeat the repair to replace it in the future). All was fine until two weeks ago when CEL came on with P0520. I removed upper and lower intake, oil filter adapter and replaced the oil pressure switch/sender with another new OEM unit. Worked fine for about 5 miles until CEL again came on with P0520 and P0522. I cleared the codes and drove for another 20 miles; no CEL. Upon restarting the engine, the CEL was again on and P0522. Cleared the codes and drove again. Sometimes the CEL comes on while driving sometimes it does not come on and waits until a restart and then comes on. I am at wits end trying to figure this one out.
I changed the oil and the filter just to make sure I didn't have any issues with a defective filter.
